Cedar Glen RV Park, Poulsbo, WA

September 11th to October 31st, 2021

We enjoyed our first experience living in our new 5th Wheel at the Cedar Glen RV Park on the Port Madison Indian Reservation just outside Poulsbo, WA USA. This was a good park to start our adventure. We spent just under 2 months here while we settled into our new home. As a family we explored the town of Poulsbo, went to a pumpkin patch in Silverdale with Grandma, the pumpkin patch in Puyallup with Katie’s brother’s family, Kitsap Live Steamers in Port Orchard with our former Au Pair Rachel and her husband.

Sidney spent most of his time, playing with the other kids in this small RV park and helping the maintenance guys pickup the garbage and other related tasks. Sidney also celebrated his 5th birthday with some of his new friends and Grandma and Grandpa.

Dad spent most of his time painting and staging the lumber for the custom bunkbeds for the boys, installing our internet solution and other settling in tasks.

Suquamish is one of many Indian Tribes in the Pacific Northwest who thrived in their traditional life ways before the arrival of non-Indians. Taking their name from the traditional Lushootseed phrase for “people of the clear salt water” these expert fisherman, canoe builders and basket weavers have lived in harmony with the lands and waterways along Washington’s Central Puget Sound Region for thousands of years.
