We did a short week stay at Portland/Fairview RV Park just outside of Portland Oregon. This campground gives you easy access to the greater Portland Metro Area and quite a bit of history. The local area is the end of both the Oregon Trail and towards the end of Lewis and Clarkâs expedition. We really enjoyed our visit to OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry), it has lots of exhibits geared towards the kids. This area is also a good place to head east/west along the I-84 corridor and to Mt. Hood, Thousand Trails Bend-Sunriver or going north into Washington State. This was our 3rd visit and will likely be back again as a layover on our way in and out of the Pacific Northwest.
