Site 139 (ADA) | July, 21st to August, 4th, 2024 | Florence, Oregon
We enjoyed our stay at Thousand Trails South Jetty. They had a new playground, great pool and lots of good trails/roads to walk. It also has great access to local attractions; most notably, the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. There was also lots of great history and Roadschooling activities in the local area. We also really liked the Mexican restaurant in town.
Our Site
- Was an handicap site
- Easy in/out for our rig
- Is listed as a 35 ft. site but we where able to overhang by about 10 ft but did not have room for both the truck & rig to park in the site, so the truck was parked down the road
- Water & Electric only
- Good shade
- Had issues getting enough sky for Starlink. Put it by restroom on the other side of dumpster
Campground – Pros
- Great access to lots of activities and beach
- Nice pool and great playground
- Great Staff and neighbors
Campground – Cons
- Almost “big rig friendly” some corners are very tight and very few sites that are big enough, have enough room to get a big rig in/out of and have stable enough internet to work from home/rig
- No WiFi in the laundry
- Need more dryers
