Othello, WA to Missoula, MT

We made it safely to Missoula, MT!

We really enjoyed our time at Potholes State Park in Othello, WA but didn’t get to explore the area as much as we would have liked, so we’ll have to go back!

We had a bit more excitement this travel day, which as you might guess isn’t a great thing. It started shortly after our first gas and bathroom break at Love’s Travel Stop and the “trailer brakes disconnected” warning started going off and on in the truck. Not exactly what you want when you’re heading into the pass from Idaho to Montana.

We stopped at a rest stop and Kyle did some troubleshooting but the warning was still intermittently going off. Thankfully it was not giving the warning through the pass at all and the pass was clear and dry. The warning came on again in Montana so we’re still figuring out what is wrong but thing a wire is loose or has a wonky connecting somewhere since it is so intermittent.

We arrived in Missoula, MT and since we’re only staying one night we’re just parked in the Cabella’s parking lot. This issue farthest East any of us have ever driven so we’re excited for the drive and the views.
