Thousand Trails Crescent Bar has earned the distinction of being ‘one of mama bear’s favorite Thousand Trails.’ The campground itself is ‘good enough’ but…, location, location, location. Crescent Bar has some great tourist stuff, a golf course and the adjacent PUD park has a great paved trail for walking/biking/ADA access (our son has mobility challenges), several beautiful beaches and swimming areas. There are lots of Roadschooling options up and down the river and in the surrounding countryside. There is a great farm stand for fresh produce just outside the town of Qunicy, WA. There were also lots of birds and wildlife to watch, with a great WA Fish & Wildlife Area with even more hiking, biking, backpacking and paddling. The boys also enjoyed the interpretive center at Rocky Reach Dam and Park.

- Big Rig friendly with full-hookups and 50-amp power
- Easy access to the hot tub and restrooms.
- Decent view of the river and sunsets
- Pro (for extroverts like papa bear and the boys) but also con (for introverts like mama bear): Has stairs to access the hot tub through our site
Campground – Pros
- Great access to Outdoor recreation of almost every kind
- Good access for boaters
- Big Rig Friendly
- Outdoor pool (not heated) located closer to the entrance
- Large outdoor hot tub between the bathrooms and laundry, in the center of the campground
- Combined tennis/pickleball court
- Small lodge with small gazebo- beautiful view
Campground – Cons
- Lots of yellow jackets
- Infrastructure is a bit outdated- power, water, irrigation, ground, bathrooms, laundry facilities
