Richard is slowly but surely improving decreasing his oxygen dependency and building up on his feed rate.
Most of the day was talking with the team to confirm what the official discharge criteria is for Richard. The other highlight of the day for papa is that he got to swap with mama and finally get some R&R.
Valet really does not like big trucks. One of the minor annoyances about any large city and the Children’s hospitals that are in them is they are not really built for big trucks beyond delivery trucks. The night before we left, Valet decided that it would be a good day to hit another SUV with our Truck… OUCH! I should also say that with our old truck, the Valet at Seattle Children’s also ripped off the radio antenna’s not once, but twice.
The rest of the day/ evening was uneventful for mom and Richard. He was on room air while awake (one of our discharge criteria) and only 1L overnight (another discharge criteria). Mom did not sleep well but that is to be expected as she is a much lighter sleeper than dad so she was up at least every 45-60 minutes for Richard – he would either fuss, desat and need suction, or I don’t know what else. Mom is definitely very thankful for dad and cannot imagine spending 23 out of 25 nights here.
Muito feliz de ver ele assim
Tomara que tenha alta logo
Ele deve esta com muitas saudades do irmão Sidney.
Espero que o Sidney tenha melhorado também.
